UASU Calls Off Strike as KNUT Declines Offer Featured
While university lecturers immediately announced that they had called off their two-week long strike, teachers’ unions remained non committal on whether they would accept the government offer and call of their strike that has so far lasted three weeks. Speaking to Citizen TV on phone, KNUT chairman Wilson Sossion accused the government of adopting a high handed approach and said teachers would not succumb to threats.
